FARGO, N.D. – A Montana truck driver is out of the hospital after being stabbed at a Minnesota rest stop last week.

A hospital spokeswoman says 51-year-old Dale Morigeau (MOHR’-ah-joh) of Ronan was released Saturday from Innovis Health in Fargo.

Morigeau suffered multiple stab wounds during an assault Jan. 11 at an Interstate 94 rest stop near Moorhead, Minn.

Prosecutors have charged 32-year-old Harmit Bhangu with second-degree attempted murder and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon in connection with the stabbing.

Bhangu, a truck driver from Chestermere, Alberta, also is charged with fourth-degree assault on a police officer for allegedly striking a detective in the face.
