Cell Phone Pics and Strange Request

2:04 a.m. An intoxicated man was verbally abusive with a bartender in Marion. He went on to knock a drink out of the bartender’s hand. The suspect eventually left and the complaint was canceled.

3:24 a.m. A boyfriend and girlfriend were being verbally abusive to one another on Highway 93 in Whitefish.

6:29 a.m. A suspicious male tried to approach a residence on Dern Road. The suspect was scared away by the owner’s dog.

10:18 a.m. A child on View Drive in Columbia Falls called authorities to report that his house was on fire. The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Police Department responded and quickly learned that the child had been playing with the telephone and that the house was fine.

12:40 p.m. Someone on Wildebeest Lane in Marion reported that someone was cutting down firewood on their property.

1:57 p.m. A 25-year-old male used his cell phone to take a picture under a woman’s dress while shopping at a local department store. He was arrested for disorderly conduct.

2:06 p.m. A 17-year-old male was caught shoplifting a can of Red Bull from ShopKo.

2:25 p.m. Two young males were skateboarding at Marina Cay in Bigfork. They were asked to leave and the obliged.

2:39 p.m. Someone tried to fill a phony prescription at a local pharmacy.

3:43 p.m. A suspicious male drove up to a window at a local coffee hut and made a strange request. The man, who had an East Coast accent and a vehicle with Bozeman plates, offered the woman at the window $50 to kick him in the groin. He had reportedly made similar requests to other female coffee shop attendants. The suspect then approached the door of the coffee shop and the attendant opened it to inform him she had called authorities. The suspect fled, and officers were unable to locate him.

3:54 p.m. Nine females who rented a cabin in the North Fork were being harassed by three males. The men kept knocking on the door. The group of women asked the males to leave and they complied.

3:59 p.m. An intoxicated male was flipping off passing motorists outside of Super 1 on Highway 2.

6:40 p.m. A dispute over an easement led to trespass allegations between neighbors. It was ruled a civil matter and the two will work things out.

8:13 p.m. A motor vehicle accident on Phanco Lane resulted in one person being transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

10:31 p.m. A dispute between a husband and a wife turned violent when the wife began destroying their home. The 41-year-old broke down a door of their Somers residence. She was arrested for partner assault.

11:31 p.m. An automobile accident on Highway 93 in Whitefish resulted in one person being transported to North Valley Hospital.

11:52 p.m. A husband and wife got into a verbal disturbance. The husband had been drinking. The wife was given a ride to another location.
