Pony Cart Dispute and Road Rage

8:14 a.m. A 55-year-old woman didn’t show up for work. Officers checked on her and she was at home and OK.

9:08 a.m. A watch was reportedly stolen on a flight from Denver to Kalispell.

11:13 a.m. A man and a woman were yelling at each another on El Rancho Lane. They were both gone when officers arrived.

1:23 p.m. There was a road-rage incident on Highway 2. A vehicle was tailgating a woman and flipped her off as she turned into a local shopping center.

2:19 p.m. Someone called in to report a theft of money orders.

2:53 p.m. A driver of a green van almost caused an accident on Highway 93. Officials were unable to locate the vehicle.

2:56 p.m. Someone in the Lake Five area called to complain about their neighbor’s dogs.

3:25 p.m. Someone selling a pony cart decided after cashing a check for the item that they wanted the cart back. They were at the buyer’s residence on KM Ranch Road demanding it be returned. The buyer and seller worked things out.

4:09 p.m. A basset hound was stolen on Collier Lane. The owner of the dog said the animal has been stolen before.

4:45 p.m. A female on Evergreen Drive was transported to the hospital with a broken rib. Officers are investigating how she was injured.

5:38 p.m. A 50-year-old man was arrested for possible partner assault.

6:12 p.m. A husband and wife got into an argument on North Ferndale Drive. She alleged that he stole medication from her and was possibly suicidal. The two parties worked things out.

8:34 p.m. A group of kids were throwing snowballs at cars on Highway 2 in Columbia Falls.

9:29 p.m. An end table, steak knives and scooter keys were among the items stolen on Whitefish Stage. The case was deemed a civil matter.

10:36 p.m. Someone heard shots fired on Newsome Road.

11:37 p.m. A woman reported that she was being stalked at a local gas station. Upon talking to her, it was deemed that she was mentally unstable.

12:34 a.m. There was a verbal disturbance in Evergreen. Two intoxicated neighbors were arguing about who should take care of one of the neighbor’s dog. They were able to work things out.

2:31 a.m. Two intoxicated males got their vehicle stuck in a driveway on Flathead Drive and were yelling at one another. The two were gone on arrival.

2:53 a.m. There was a report of an underage drinking party on Valley View Drive. Officers checked things out and the kids weren’t drinking.

3:51 a.m. There was a suspected prowler in Hungry Horse. The prowler, however, turned out to be the man’s wife.
