Drunk Punched and Van Dilemma

9:15 a.m. A door was left open at a home near Echo Lake. It turns out the house was being painted and the painter was airing it out.

10:19 a.m. A steer broke out and was wandering around the Reserve and Cherry Lynn area. The owner was contacted and rounded up the animal.

10:30 a.m. People were wandering through yards on Three Mile Drive and knocking on windows. The suspects were gone when officers arrived.

11:16 a.m. Someone on Foothills Road said he was receiving threatening and harassing phone calls from businesses.

11:34 a.m. Debris was removed from the roadway on Farm to Market.

1:05 p.m. Locks were cut at a local mini storage. At least one unit reported items missing.

2:44 p.m. Someone reported that their van had been vandalized. Upon inspection, an officer couldn’t determine whether the van had been vandalized or if a part had just fallen off.

4:25 p.m. A Lakeside woman, who was intoxicated and suicidal, was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

5:58 p.m. A group of kids was playing with a phone on Helena Flatts Road and dialed 11.

6:54 p.m. Someone thought they saw a group of kids enter the River Bridge Inn building in Columbia Falls. Officers were unable to locate anyone matching that description in the area..

7:30 p.m. A male on Judith Road suspects that the neighbor kids dented his motorcycle.

8:17 p.m. A couple on Highway 93 in Whitefish got into an argument when a man told a woman that he was in love with someone else.

8:55 p.m. An intoxicated male was cursing and being belligerent toward a female on Harmony Road. She didn’t want to pursue charges she just wanted him checked on.

10:14 p.m. A male was hiding behind a Bigfork casino. When officers shined their flashlights on him he ran into the woods. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

10:40 p.m. A female in West Glacier was receiving threatening phone calls from a male.

1:45 a.m. An intoxicated man was rudely hitting on a woman at a local casino. Another patron there asked him if he wanted to take things outside. When the man obliged he was subsequently punched in the face. He doesn’t recall being rude and it is unclear if anyone will press charges.
