6:19 a.m. Someone swiped some tools from a garage behind a chiropractic center on Highway 2.
6:38 a.m. Windows were knocked out at a coffee shop on Woodland Park Drive. Nothing was missing.
7:09 a.m. Someone on Coram Stage Road was upset because their neighbor’s fireworks were scaring their horses.
7:37 a.m. Someone drove into a power pole near the Conrad Complex softball fields, knocking out traffic lights and power in the area. The careless driver refused medical treatment.
7:48 a.m. A report of an intoxicated person trying to get a boat into the water at Ashley Lake was unfounded. The boat owner had not been drinking.
8:04 a.m. Angry vehicle owners reported that someone was siphoning gas from cars on Trumble Creek Road.
8:29 a.m. Loose dogs were picked up on Blackmer Lane. They had collars, so if you’re missing a dog look at the county animal shelter. If you’re not missing a dog but want to get one, go to the animal shelter anyway; there’s lots of extra dogs.
9:46 a.m. A male and female got into a verbal argument over their motor home and an unemployment check on Kings Loop.
10:09 a.m. Someone went through the trouble of knocking out windows at an office complex on Highway 2, but then didn’t bother to enter the building.
11:14 a.m. A 2-year-old girl was found running east on East Oregon Street. Her babysitter had fallen asleep.
12:31 p.m. Reports that a horse in a field was malnourished were unfounded. The horse had food and water. It was just slender.
12:34 A 15-year-old male was running around a trailer park with a gas can in the Forest Acres area. The person calling said the boy was known to start fires. When police got there, the boy wasn’t causing any trouble so they turned him and the gas over to the boy’s mother.
12:36 p.m. Someone unscrewed the hasp to a door on a house on Solberg Drive, but didn’t take anything.
1:27 p.m. A renter and landlord were having a verbal disagreement over furniture.
1:32 p.m. There was a report of vicious dogs, possibly boxers, on Foys Lake Road.
1:49 p.m. A landlord called and said he had received an anonymous tip that some of his renters on Poplar Drive were engaging in some illegal horticulture. They were allegedly growing marijuana plants.
2:26 p.m. A man reported that he had gotten a flat tire on Star Meadows Road. When he went back to fix it a few days later, there were bullet holes in the vehicle.
3:30 p.m. A worker at a construction site behind The Wave in Whitefish fell off a wall. He was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with a broken leg.
3:35 p.m. Someone called to complain that their neighbor speeds down a driveway the two landowners share.
4:12 p.m. A box of office supplies was stolen from a storage unit.
4:22 p.m. A dog was left inside a vehicle with the windows rolled up.
4:24 p.m. Three kids, one girl and two boys, were smoking marijuana on the grass between the Town Pump and Wal-Mart in Evergreen.
4:24 p.m. A 3-year-old on Harvest Lane swallowed some sort of cleaner with bleach. The parent refused treatment.
4:49 p.m. A dog was chasing a child in Hungry Horse. Evidently, this is a recurring problem.
5:02 p.m. Homeowners requested increased patrol after seeing an individual who had previously been convicted of burglarizing their home pass by in a truck.
5:11 p.m. Goats were loose on Hathaway Lane.
5:11 p.m. Four men got into an altercation at the White Birch RV Park. One of the injured men refused medical treatment. Everyone was separated.
5:57 p.m. Someone reported a suspicious man carrying a bucket of cleaning supplies and knocking on doors near Garden Drive. He was gone when police arrived.
6:01 p.m. An intoxicated man was acting as a road hazard on Highway 35 near the Rainbow Bar. Highway Patrol officers later found the man at Applebee’s and gave him a ride.
6:05 p.m. Neighbors on Batavia Lane were arguing over a property easement line.
6:12 p.m. A landlord on Shady Lane was having some trouble evicting his tenant.
6:16 p.m. A woman had a restraining order on her husband, but continued to call and text him. He asked that she be told to stop.
6:23 p.m. A person on Klondyke Loop in Somers received a threatening phone call. They don’t know who it was.
6:32 p.m. A wallet was stolen at Shopko.
7:14 p.m. A disabled child was reported missing on Gordon Avenue in Columbia Falls. He was found about 20 minutes later.
7:45 p.m. A woman on Mill Street was on her balcony waving cushions and screaming for help. It turns out she had locked herself out of her home.
7:59 p.m. This time reports of neglected horses proved true. Five horses on Haywire Gulch were without food or water, but appeared to be a good health. The owners could not be located.
8:40 p.m. There were four viscous pit bulls in an RV on South Mountain View Drive.
8:59 p.m. A train conductor from the Essex Train Station told a couple to get off his train after they got into a verbal argument. No report on if the couple ever made it to their final destination of Seattle.
9:23 p.m. A man was reportedly smashing a vehicle’s windows behind a Conoco. It turned out he owned the car.
9:42 p.m. Three males were drinking and setting off smoke bombs in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
10:42 p.m. Someone called to say that their friend had drank a small amount of “alcohol for a stove,” but that it was an accident.
10:47 p.m. A dog and a vehicle collided on Landmark Lane in Bigfork. The dog went to the Central Valley Vet, while the car suffered more than $1,000 in damage.
10:50 p.m. Someone found a male dressed all in black on West Valley Drive suspicious.
10:53 p.m. A woman called from a motel in West Glacier to ask how to handle her daughter. Officers advised.
11:23 p.m. A woman called with questions about threats. Evidently, she and a man she bought a van from were disagreeing over the requirements of their civil contract.
12:36 a.m. A hiker was reported missing in Glacier National Park. Park rangers took the case.
12:53 a.m. Someone reported hearing gunshots on the firing range on KM Ranch Road.
