Kalispell Teen to Compete for Montana Junior Miss Title

Congratulations to Kaylan Radel who recently won the title of Kalispell’s Junior Miss 2010.

On Aug. 8, Radel will compete with other soon-to-be seniors from across Montana for a share of $3,000 in cash scholarships at the Montana Junior Miss Scholarship Program at the Cut Bank High School Auditorium. The winner will travel to Mobile, Ala. in June next year to represent Montana at the America’s Junior Miss national finals.

According to a press release from the state’s Junior Miss chapter, Radel is active in volleyball, choir, student council, National Honor Society, dance, track and field and basketball. She will be performing a vocal solo, “Sway” by Michael Buble for her talent selection.

If you’re looking for a road trip and want to support Radel, the state program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and tickets will be available the Cut Bank Pioneer Press, KSEN, Bank of Glacier County, Stockman Bank and the Cut Bank Visitors Center.
