This past weekend at The Event at Rebecca Farm, horses were anxious, riders were nervous and I was in awe. Not only were the horses absolutely beautiful to watch, the riders were gallantly displaying their perfect posture and dressed to the nines. In the picture, a rider has on two staples that every women should own; a beautifully tailored jacket and the classic riding boot.
The jacket is today’s version of the corset.. It puts our gifts and graces in all the right places. It is best for ladies with a larger chest to have at least two buttons to pull in the waist, and those with a smaller chest will do great with one button to accentuate the smallest part of the waist. Honestly, try it – this will work. The classic riding boot can be worn all year round, over jeans, with skirts and dresses; it is just as versatile as the black pump.
