Unruly Goat and a Reckless Tricyclist

7:59 a.m. Six cows ran wild on Kings Way before authorities assisted in an efficient round-up.

8:52 a.m. Two individuals have developed the habit of using a business dumpster for their personal refuse. Items dumped include miscellaneous garbage, paint cans and large children’s toys.

9:44 a.m. Two large dogs were howling on South Meridian Road. Although their owners are believed to be out of town, the dogs are currently happy and well-fed.

10:33 a.m. Someone on Klondyke Loop claims that a neighbor’s dogs have gone hours or perhaps days without food or water. The dog was found to be in excellent condition.

10:48 a.m. A red motor boat was stolen from a home on Sussex Drive. The watercraft has yet to be located.

10:56 a.m. A man came to a door on Managhan Lane, claiming that he used to live at the residence and inquiring whether the home was for sale. When asked to leave, the gentleman would not comply.

11:20 a.m. A large boulder occupied the intersection of Highway 93 and Reserve Drive, posing a hazard to passing motorists.

12:36 p.m. Someone on First Avenue East called to report that garbage was scattered around an abandoned property nearby. The reporting party was concerned that this might attract bears.

1:18 p.m. A vehicle sustained massive damage after catching fire near the entrance to the county landfill. Though the car was totaled, all occupants escaped without harm.

1:23 p.m. Someone shattered the rear window of a pickup truck on Airport Road. This action was highly unnecessary, as all of the vehicle windows were down at the time.

1:40 p.m. At a residence on Highway 93, a woman was sprayed in the face with some sort of pressurized gas.

2:35 p.m. An ungovernable goat wreaked havoc on Grande Vista Drive, eating all of the shrubbery at a nearby residence. The goat returned home after completing his eating spree.

2:48 p.m. Two kids tossed firecrackers at passing cars on North Hilltop Road in Columbia Falls.

3:04 p.m. Several plants were stolen from the ground at a home in Lakeside.

3:17 p.m. A man on a tricycle was seen veering into traffic near a bar in Columbia Falls. Authorities could not locate said individual.

4:07 p.m. One black cow wandered about on Halfmoon Road in Columbia Falls.

4:47 p.m. Lightening struck a tree approximately ten feet from a building in Whitefish. The structure was not damaged.

10:04 p.m. A concerned individual called to report that a friend had not yet returned from a hike in the Jewel Basin Area, despite promising to be home by dark. Efforts to contact the hiker have been unsuccessful.

11:58 p.m. Someone called from a local casino to report that their car had been stolen. The vehicle was later located a short distance away, presumably the target of a practical joke.
