Gov. Brian Schweitzer declared Wednesday that The Cutting Board in Eureka, home to the Bubba Burger, deserves your vote in the Ultimate Hometown Grill Off on ABC’s “Live! with Regis and Kelly.”
The Bubba Burger – made with Cajun sausage, jumbo shrimp, chipotle sauce and cheddar cheese – was already voted best burger on the show. Now viewers will decide whether the restaurant deserves the overall award for the No. 1 hometown grill in America.
Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer recently made the trip to Eureka to try the Bubba Burger. He liked it enough to send out this press release:
The Cutting Board in Eureka is in the final round to be the #1 Grill in America. The grill recently won America’s best burger with the now famous Eureka Bubba Burger on Live with Regis and Kelly.
“I stopped by the last time I was in Eureka and had a great burger at a great grill, I don’t see any reason why this fine Montana grill shouldn’t have all our support,” said Governor Brian Schweitzer.
The final round of voting will take place this Friday through Saturday with the top two contestants traveling to New York for a cook off on Live with Regis and Kelly. The judges will then choose a winner who will receive the coveted title of #1 Hometown Grill in America.
“It’s great to have a Montana grill in such a high profile contest. There are a lot of good places to get a burger across the state,” said Schweitzer, “but after tasting The Eureka Burger people should give them their vote in this contest.”
