The Whitefish Lake Triathlon will be held on Sunday Aug. 16. Distances will consist of a half-mile swim, 20-kilometer bike ride and five-kilometer run. There will be a pre-race meeting with a packet pickup and course description on Saturday Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. at Whitefish City Beach.
Participants can register at the Kalispell Athletic Club prior to race day. The cost is $44 for an individual or $108 for a team of three.
