HELENA – The U.S. Mint plans a new state quarter program that will feature a national park or other national site in each state along with the District of Columbia and five territories.
The five quarters being released in 2010 include Wyoming’s which will feature Yellowstone National Park. Montana’s quarter, which will highlight Glacier National Park, will be released in 2011.
Idaho’s quarter, featuring the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, is scheduled to be released in 2019.
The final quarter, recognizing the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site in Alabama, will be released in 2021.
