Group Littering and a Missing Man Down

Tuesday 9/22

7:12 a.m. Firewood was scattered in the intersection of Highway 82 and Highway 93.

8:06 a.m. A propeller was stolen from a boat on South Woodland Drive.

9:02 a.m. Tools were stolen from a truck parked at a Columbia Falls convenience store. The victim identified the perpetrator and the tools were returned.

9:41 a.m. A cat was injured when it was shut in a garage door on Martha Road.

10:10 a.m. Money was stolen from a local gift shop, supposedly at the hands of a store employee.

10:23 a.m. Prescription medications were stolen from a home on Trumbull Canyon Road.

12:21 p.m. Two adult males were arguing over a civil issue at an Evergreen auto dealer.

12:31 p.m. A hunting knife and a pair of gloves were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Pickleville Lane in Somers.

1:01 p.m. A man stood outside a Bigfork business, harassing customers coming through the door. When asked to leave, the gentleman responded with brusque profanity.

1:48 p.m. A vicious dog in Olney somehow turned out to be a part of an easement issue.

2:18 p.m. Someone reports that a business client has been harassing him over the phone.

3:44 p.m. An individual was bitten on the upper arm by a German Shepherd in West Glacier.

4:10 p.m. Neighbors quarreled over a loose dog on Jenson Road in Columbia Falls.

7:24 p.m. A vehicle containing six or seven adult males seemed suspicious to a passer-by at a local fishing access. The men were evidently littering and may have been partaking in illicit drugs.

8:04 p.m. Medical personnel responded to reports of an unconscious subject at a local park only to find no one on the scene. Evidently, someone had already given the intoxicated individual a ride home.

8:35 p.m. Someone attempted to pass several bills with the same serial number at a Hungry Horse gift shop.

10:51 p.m. A man and his ex-wife engaged in a physical altercation on Zimmerman Road in Kalispell. The female party was later taken to jail for drunk driving.

11:30 p.m. A large porcupine carcass was removed from Highway 93.
