Bad Meal and a Messy Bear

8:54 a.m. Someone on Elk Park Road noticed a suspicious figure wandering around the reporting party’s house. Authorities contacted the stranger, who explained that he was relieving himself in the woods after eating a dinner that upset his stomach.

9:11 a.m. A resident of Steels Drive in Columbia Falls reports that her 26-year-old daughter slapped her across the face. This is evidently an ongoing problem.

10:15 a.m. A counterfeit $50 bill showed up at a local casino.

10:29 a.m. Someone in the Lower Valley area complains of a neighbor with 15 cats who wander onto the reporting party’s property.

11:23 a.m. A realtor in Bigfork discovered a handprint on the garage door of a house that is for sale. The realtor suspects an attempted burglary.

11:54 a.m. Someone stole several pillows and towels from a Eureka motel.

2:03 p.m. Someone on Maple Drive has been receiving threatening text messages and voicemails.

3:06 p.m. A resident of Labrant road has been receiving hate mail for several years.

4:45 p.m. A man called to report that property awarded to him in a divorce is being withheld by his ex-wife.

5:48 p.m. Someone stole a written prescription from an Evergreen home.

6:37 p.m. A sheet of wood obstructed Highway 93.

7:00 p.m. Multiple individuals argued on Foothill Road.

11:09 p.m. What may have been a bear tipped over a garbage can on Big Mountain Road. Although the reporting party did not see the offender, the bags were split and garbage strewn about the yard.

11:54 p.m. Someone at an apartment complex on Highway 35 called to report that the neighbors were arguing loudly next door. The noise turned out to be from a loud party.
