3:51 a.m. A victim of another driver’s road rage called to report that he had found the perpetrator’s vehicle parked at an Evergreen business. The guilty party was not near the car and could not be found.
7:15 a.m. A resident of Martin City reports that a large bear has been wandering in and out of her yard.
7:21 a.m. Someone became suspicious when a semi truck was parked on Hanging Rock Road for a particularly long amount of time.
10:56 a.m. Authorities helped a “man down” in Whitefish return to his feet.
12:48 p.m. Although he hasn’t actually seen the creatures, a man on Hoffman Draw suspects that a mama bear and her cub have been frequenting his yard.
12:53 p.m. A resident of Hungry Horse is perturbed with a neighbor who has evidently been taking photos of and harassing the reporting party.
1:43 p.m. A woman on Whitefish Stage Road could smell smoke in her home, and indicated that her living room was “misty.” The smell and haze turned out to be from a blown fuse.
2:29 p.m. A runaway juvenile was located at a local high school.
3:53 p.m. A chimney fire at a local home was quickly extinguished and did not spread to the rest of the home.l
4:44 p.m. Someone in Coram reports that a mountain lion has been prowling about the area.
5:32 p.m. A resident of Bison Drive claims that someone broke a window in his house and then proceeded to remove a gun and other items from the home.
7:39 p.m. Employees of a local convenience store requested medial assistance for a 50-year-old man who may have been suffering from hypothermia. The man, who evidently had been drinking, was escorted to the hospital for care.
8:27 p.m. A pit bull/mastiff cross has apparently been exhibiting vicious behavior in Whitefish.
8:46 p.m. Authorities responded to reports of a slick road in Kila. A sand truck was soon on the scene.
9:13 p.m. Someone at a local trailer park claims that her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend engaged in a verbal altercation.
