Theft of Internet and a Confused Traveler

7:14 a.m. A crossing arm got stuck in the “down” position at an Evergreen railroad crossing.

9:09 a.m. A school bus caught fire on FFA Drive and was put out by the reporting party. No children were on the bus at the time.

9:15 a.m. Someone broke into a local nursery. Signs of entry included footprints in the seal coat and money missing from the register.

12:08 p.m. Someone called to report that a child was lacking certain items of clothing in Hungry Horse.

1:41 p.m. An individual on Highway 35 reports that someone was parked outside their home and using their internet. Authorities suggested they change their password.

2:39 p.m. A resident of Grand View Drive reports that a neighbor cut down several trees and blocked the road.

2:45 p.m. Someone on Kelley Road in Columbia Falls has been feeding a neighbor’s horses for four months.

2:54 p.m. An 18-year-old argued with their stepmom on Maple Drive.

3:35 p.m. Prescription medication was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Hoffman Draw.

4:31 p.m. A 10-year-old boy stabbed his 7-year-old brother with a pencil on Highway 2 East and then took off on foot.

5:05 p.m. Someone on Star Meadows Road doesn’t appreciate it when a neighbor shoots on their property.

5:55 p.m. Construction tools were stolen from a construction site on Rest Haven Drive.

6:44 p.m. Someone kicked in the door at an Evergreen sporting goods store for the second time in two days. This time, however, he did so during operating store hours. He is no longer welcome on the premises.

9:05 p.m. An employee of a Hungry Horse resort called to report that a male subject kept trying to check in, despite the fact that the resort is closed.
