Strange Burning Smell and a Confused Drunk Man

Tuesday 11/3

9:09 a.m. Assorted construction materials were stolen from a site on Pleasant Valley Road.

9:13 a.m. The sign at a local neon sign business was damaged.

9:14 a.m. A tire was slashed at an Evergreen school.

9:15 a.m. Someone with previous heart trouble had a panic attack near the community college.

10:48 a.m. A vicious pit bull and a collie/lab mix attacked a cat on Breezy Point. The cat’s owner is currently tending to its wounds.

10:54 a.m. A transient individual with messy hair purchased rubbing alcohol, peroxide and a lighter at a local convenience store and then took the items into the bathroom. The store clerk soon noticed a burning smell and called the police. When approached, the man claimed that he was testing his blood sugar level.

12:21 p.m. A large white poodle behaved viciously on Gray Lane.

3:46 p.m. One sister clobbered another on Trails End Drive.

5:05 p.m. A resident of Harmony Road reports that an unfamiliar intoxicated man banged on her door and insisted that she owed him money. He then called her numerous bad names.

5:09 p.m. One horse and two goats got loose on Meadow Court and ate a neighbor’s grass.

5:59 p.m. What was thought to be poaching on Dillon Road turned out to be a completely legal game kill.

6:10 p.m. A man called and a harassed a woman on Rocky Cliff Drive. Authorities told him to knock it off.

10:28 p.m. An 18-year-old female subject attempted to take a watch and a wallet from an Evergreen box store.

12:50 a.m. An intoxicated male subject ran into a Somers bar and yelled that he needed the police. As it turned out, he was merely involved in a verbal argument with an intoxicated woman.
