Sabotaged Car and a Reckless Hunter

6:20 a.m. Employees of a local convenience store were alarmed to see that a customer with brown dreadlocks and rubber boots had blood on his face. The man was gone when authorities arrived.

7:39 a.m. A resident of Brunner Road called to say that one of his colts had died, and that he would be taking it to the dump.

8:17 a.m. A 14-month-old child was accidentally locked in a running car at a local motel.

8:42 a.m. Two students got into it at a Bigfork school.

9:59 a.m. Someone heard crackling and saw smoke on Tally Lake Road. The blaze turned out to be a controlled burn.

11:18 a.m. A young girl sitting on the side of Highway 2 apparently wanted to go live with Grandma. The youth’s mother arrived and took her home.

1:38 p.m. An individual from One Way Road reports that someone loosened all of their lug nuts on Halloween night.

2:09 p.m. Someone cashed a check that was made out to another individual. The reporting party later called back to say that everything was fine.

3:08 p.m. A resident of Batavia Lane claims that another party took photos of their home and then left.

3:26 p.m. A school bus rear-ended a truck in Somers after running a red light. No one was harmed in the crash.

3:37 p.m. Somebody bought a car from an Evergreen dealership, only to stall after driving 30 miles. Sugar and salt were found in the gas tank.

4:06 p.m. A Columbia Falls youth pushed a teacher at school, then proceeded to act out verbally at home.

4:15 p.m. Three dogs in Coram reportedly have no access to shelter, food or water.

4:32 p.m. A resident of River Road called to complain about a hunter shooting directly across the road from their home. Numerous children were playing outside at the time.

5:26 p.m. Someone erected a tent in the right-of-way near a bridge on Church Drive.

6:13 p.m. A woman in Evergreen yelled at her kids and then argued verbally with an adult male subject.

8:02 p.m. Two woman and a man attempted to steal thousands of dollars worth of items from an Evergreen box store. All three of them went directly to jail.

9:02 p.m. An unattended vehicle near a local auto dealership had all four doors open.

10:49 p.m. A man was punched in the face near a local bar.

1:57 a.m. A male subject stole one can of beer from an Evergreen grocery store.
