Here’s Montana Congressman Denny Rehberg’s rather ambiguous response to President Barack Obama’s strategy in Afghanistan:
“The war in Afghanistan is extremely important to keeping Americans safe after 9/11. Failure there is not an option. It’s essential that we provide the brave men and women serving abroad the resources they need to be successful. Politicians in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t second-guess the commanders on the ground or try to micromanage military strategy. It’s our job to ensure that the soldiers we charge with defending our freedom have all the resources and manpower they need to do the job and return home as quickly as possible.”
