Local lawmakers will host another “town hall” meeting on property reappraisal for Flathead County residents on Thursday, Dec. 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Flathead Valley Community College Arts and Technology Building.
Rep. Scott Reichner, R-Bigfork, will host the event along with other lawmakers to gauge the effect reappraisal has had on Flathead residents. All county residents are invited to attend. This is the second town hall meeting on reappraisal; the first meeting, in Bigfork in November, was well attended by landowners upset with the latest property value assessment.
