Wrestling Clerks and a Backyard Vandal

5:10 a.m. An employee of a local beauty salon arrived to find that the door had been forced open. It is unknown whether any items are missing from the store.

7:54 a.m. A dead horse was found in a barn on Whitefish Stage Road. The property has clearly been vacant for quite some time.

9:35 a.m. A female subject who did not show up for work was found in the county jail.

10:37 a.m. Someone dropped off several suspicious items in a driveway on Sunnyside Drive. Although the reporting party believed them to be drug-related, the items were in fact completely innocuous.

10:52 a.m. A male subject who attempted to steal fishing tackle from a local sporting goods store became combative but was restrained by two store employees. Their method was to sit on the would-be thief.

2:20 p.m. A 20-year-old man tried to shoplift one can of beer from an Evergreen grocery store.

2:22 p.m. Someone on Ardell Drive noticed footprints leading up to a barn door that was nailed shut from the inside. He found this to be highly suspicious.

3:30 p.m. Someone on Lore Lake Road has allegedly been harassing a neighbor’s kids.

4:55 p.m. Neighbors on Farm to Market Road evidently cannot work out their differences. One subject evidently tried to run over a female party with a snowmobile, and a male subject stepped onto the other’s porch with a gun.

4:57 p.m. A woman reports that her child’s classmate phoned her and claimed that their grandmother had died. The reporting party contacted the grandmother who is alive and well.

5:09 p.m. An open door on Birch Drive aroused a neighbor’s suspicions. The homeowner was staying in a camper on the property while the home was being renovated and all was well.

5:27 p.m. Someone in Olney claims that an adult male driver intentionally backed over their tree and then spun brodies in the reporting party’s yard. The guilty party was arrested for criminal mischief and reckless driving.

6:39 p.m. A man walked in the middle of the road near a Columbia Falls bar with no regard for his own personal safety.

7:14 p.m. A man was seen standing on the median near a local sporting goods store, occasionally wandering into traffic. Authorities invited the man to move along.

8:00 p.m. A resident of Hilltop Avenue arrived home to find water gushing from somewhere into their basement.

8:45 p.m. An unknown number has been calling and harassing a resident of Eagle Drive. Authorities called the number but found it to be nonfunctional.

8:49 p.m. A man was seen slumped over his steering wheel on Seville Lane in Coram while parked in his driveway. The man went inside and a neighbor moved his car.

10:20 p.m. Someone called to report that a female party beat them up, resulting in an injured finger.

12:16 a.m. A juvenile male broke into a vehicle on Parliament Drive. The reporting party and another man detained the youth until authorities arrived.
