Boomerang Patient and a Stolen Dog

6:41 a.m. A man on Harmony Road was walking his daughter to work when they were chased by a vicious dog.

7:59 a.m. A couple of vagrant horses were seen wandering up Blacktail Road toward the ski resort.

8:03 a.m. A 44-year-old female was found deceased approximately 75 yards from her Highland Drive home after being reported as missing. Her death is still under investigation.

9:32 a.m. Someone ignited the trash in a dumpster near Ashley Lake. It is unknown whether the fire was intentionally lit.

9:48 a.m. A dog evidently bit someone on Antelope Trail.

11:19 a.m. A woman called from Columbia Falls to report that another woman had threatened her on her Myspace page.

12:14 p.m. Authorities stood by as a man picked up his belongings from his ex-girlfriend’s home on Aluminum Drive.

12:24 p.m. A man picked his wife up from the hospital only for her to pass out in the car on the way home. The ambulance arrived and brought her back to the hospital.

12:42 p.m. Someone has a problem with their neighbor in Happy Valley.

12:46 p.m. A woman called from Billings and requested a welfare check on her 17-year-old daughter who supposedly lives on Lone Pine Road. The girl, who has missed several medical appointments, could not be located.

1:47 p.m. Two horses on Whitefish Stage Road are extremely thin. Authorities found that their slender condition is merely a result of old age.

4:11 p.m. Someone on Foys Canyon Road reports that their neighbor stole their dog and chained it to a tree. Authorities encouraged the neighbor to give it back.

4:16 p.m. Someone on Birch Drive claims that his girlfriend took his possessions when he was arrested for DUI on Saturday. She apparently doesn’t want to give them back.

5:39 p.m. Someone on Big Mountain Road thought that there might be trespassers on a neighbor’s property. There were in fact no such trespassers.

5:39 p.m. A man on Shady Lane reports that his wife has his cell phone and he wants it back.

5:51 p.m. A babysitter in Columbia Falls requested assistance in removing the children’s mother’s boyfriend from the residence.

6:32 p.m. A dead deer blocked the northbound lane of Whitefish Stage Road. The deer had been pulled to the shoulder by the time authorities arrived.

8:15 p.m. A juvenile male called to say that he was having problems with his father. A sheriff’s deputy helped them work it out.

11:17 p.m. Reports of a loud stereo at a local motel proved unfounded. The room was quiet when authorities arrived.
