Subcontracted by Complete Restoration Inc., Gordy Emmert, of Emmert Construction, uses a backhoe to bring down portions of a fire-damaged home on East Bowman Drive in the Stillwater Estates subdivision just north of Kalispell. A three-car garage, loft bedroom and laundry room were lost in the Jan. 10 fire that burned the home belonging to Thomas and Michelle Schaffer and their three children. No one was injured in the blaze.
