Mangy Dog and a Sneaky Stalker

12:03 a.m. A male subject allegedly pushed his girlfriend on Suzy Lane. The two worked it out and no arrests were made.

2:29 a.m. A woman in Whitefish received a phone call from someone who threatened to make trouble for her and her family. The reporting party couldn’t tell whether the caller was a man or a woman but says that they had a “rough voice.”

4:01 a.m. An intoxicated male was asked to leave the parking lot of a Whitefish resort.

8:00 a.m. Someone on Cedar Drive reports that their flat-screen TV was taken from the wall sometime in the night.

10:06 a.m. A resident of Cobbler Village noticed a torn window screen and footprints around the back side of their house. Nothing was taken from the home.

1:58 p.m. A loose paint horse on Rose Crossing made it home safely.

4:05 p.m. Video equipment was taken from a location on Big Mountain.

4:17 p.m. Highway 2 near West Glacier was temporarily obstructed by rocks.

4:22 p.m. A dog on South Cedar Drive had a minor injury on its ear. Authorities gave the pup a ride home.

4:39 p.m. Someone called to report that a dog had “the mange” and was being neglected in Evergreen. The dog in question was actually just old.

4:47 p.m. A checkbook was stolen from a vehicle on Middle Road.

5:17 p.m. Several kids were throwing snowballs at cars near a local funeral home. Police advised the hooligans to go home.

6:47 p.m. A resident of Solberg Drive reports that a man was standing in his yard. The man was apparently selling video games.

7:34 p.m. Two young boys ran out in the middle of Highway 2 in Columbia Falls and lay down in the road. The foolhardy youths got up and ran away when a car approached.

8:22 p.m. Someone in Columbia Falls reports that a man was standing in a snow bank near a local storage business.

8:25 p.m. Loose dogs have been getting into the garbage at a residence on Halfmoon Road.

4:10 a.m. A male subject was arrested after walking around a Whitefish bowling alley with a knife.

4:30 a.m. A young woman claims that she was followed by a male subject while walking home from Kila. He evidently hid in the bushes every time she turned around.
