Injured Turkey and Questionable Conduct

8:12 a.m. Someone shot a house with paint balls in Hungry Horse.

2:31 a.m. A bunch of people yelling near a local bar were quiet when authorities arrived.

2:47 a.m. Someone on Solberg Drive reports that a woman may have broken into their home through the front window.

7:53 a.m. Ten to twenty mailboxes were smashed on Vonderheide Lane.

8:12 a.m. A house was paint-balled in Hungry Horse.

9:53 a.m. Another house was paint-balled in Hungry Horse.

11:06 a.m. Someone on Hemler Lane complains that a neighbor was trespassing on their property. Authorities helped them work it out.

11:25 a.m. A missing snowmobiler was found at a cabin on the back side of Big Mountain.

1:27 p.m. A Bigfork resident believes that his runaway son may have tried to enter the caller’s house to retrieve clothing. No damage was done to the home.

2:14 p.m. Walking eastbound on Highway 2 East, an older male subject was reportedly yelling and exhibiting obnoxious behavior. Officers visited with him and he went home.

2:37 p.m. An intoxicated man reportedly called a woman on the phone and threatened to shoot her. He evidently does this on a regular basis.

3:08 p.m. Two energy drinks were stolen from a Hungry Horse business. The burglar apparently broke a window to gain entry into the building.

4:23 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident reports that a vehicle with a loud boom box was driving through their neighborhood.

5:10 p.m. One dog attacked another at a Bigfork animal hospital.

5:41 p.m. A turkey in a Kila yard evidently had a broken leg and blood running down its “face.” The caller was referred to Fish and Game.

6:54 p.m. A verbal disturbance ensued when one man accused another of giving his wife a backrub. Both parties were counseled.

8:08 p.m. Someone on Bench Drive reports that a man found the reporting party’s cell phone and won’t give it back.

11:41 a.m. A foul plastic odor was traced to a slash pile on Bear Trail in Whitefish.
