10:07 a.m. Someone called to report that a vicious pit bull was roaming around Lake Blaine Drive.

2:32 p.m. Smoke seen on a mountain east of Highway 206 turned out to be from a logging operation.

2:33 p.m. Fish, Wildlife and Parks attended to an injured hawk found near Lakeside.

3:58 p.m. A resident of Mountain View Drive allegedly places bags of trash on his neighbor’s property. The trash is then flung around the yard by one of the subjects’ dogs.

4:39 p.m. A power trowel was reportedly stolen from a location on Conn Road.

4:59 p.m. Copper roofing materials were stolen from a residence on Trumble Creek Road.

5:03 p.m. On Three Mile Drive, a little dog was trampled beneath a horse’s hooves. The pup survived the ordeal and was returned to its owner.

5:03 p.m. A 9-year-old and a 10-year old engaged in an altercation on Dawn Drive in Columbia Falls. One reportedly threatened to kill the other, and one of the two sustained a scraped knee.

5:37 p.m. A man at a residence near Ashley Lake Road allegedly pelted his wife with firewood and other items when he couldn’t get his Avatar DVD to play. Authorities found the home, accessible only by ATV, and escorted the frustrated man to jail.

5:47 p.m. Fifteen head of Forest Service horses and mules were seen wandering up Wagner Road in Coram.

6:06 p.m. Someone on Gunsight Loop reports that a neighbor continually comes onto the caller’s property to cut dandelions. This evidently makes the reporting party uncomfortable.

7:30 p.m. Three grizzly bears were seen near Martin City.

9:34 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident reports that five kids came into the reporting party’s pasture and chased their dairy goats and horse. Authorities will be searching for the culprits.

9:49 p.m. An injured osprey was taken to the local “bird lady” for treatment.

11:06 p.m. Someone noticed an open camper door at a local RV dealership. Authorities determined that the wind had blown it open.

12:24 p.m. An intoxicated Bigfork parolee reportedly threw a pillow at his wife. The man then called and claimed that his wife was on drugs.
