High Jumper Fail and Carousing Canadians

7:34 a.m. A deer misjudged its jumping prowess and was impaled on a fence post. The reporting callers asked for a quick removal as they didn’t want their kids to see it.

9:40 a.m. A call came in that several Kalispell employees were being followed by a group of people who were vocally encouraging them to join a union.

9:55 a.m. After the reporting party’s daughter went out to fetch their loose horses near Kalispell, a neighbor allegedly threatened to send her pit bulls after the girl. Both parties were counseled.

10:22 a.m. A Whitefish business owner called after spotting a woman who he said had written him bad checks in the past. The womanly had allegedly fled to Arizona, but had now returned. The reports turned out to be unfounded.

6:29 p.m. A model helicopter, reportedly worth $6,000 was stolen from a Bigfork home.

6:36 p.m. After donating blood earlier in the day, a Kalispell woman passed out at a downtown bar.

6:58 p.m. After her son was punched by his friend, a Kalispell mother confronted the friend and yelled at him. Naturally, this upset the child’s parents. All parties were counseled.

9:18 p.m. A grizzly bear was spotted prowling a Lakeside property.

10:41 p.m. A Kalispell man, with a history of domestic problems, allegedly threw a dinner plate through a window during an argument with his wife.

11:22 p.m. The reporting party complained that a sewer pump’s excessive noise left him unable to sleep.

2:00 a.m. A pair of Canadians, who were drinking on top of a Whitefish bar, were advised to get off the roof.
