7:53 a.m. A Foothill Road homeowner became unnerved when a bear took up residence nearby. A deputy arrived on the scene scared the bear away.
10:40 a.m. A customer at an Evergreen business acted in a threatening manner toward employees. After demanding his car back and not getting it, he warned he would be back.
11:30 a.m. A man at a Highway 93 gas station was harassing patrons by asking them for money and a ride.
11:41 a.m. Kalispell’s own sporadic nudist made an appearance at a local park. Deputies failed to locate him.
4:43 p.m. License plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in Bigfork.
4:39 p.m. A thief visited the microwave site of a local telecommunications company and made off with several reels of piping.
8:12 p.m. A Kalispell man claimed that his roommate stole his television.
8:40 p.m. Unsurprisingly, loud music was heard on College Avenue.
10:15 p.m. A Bigfork resident spotted a pickup truck displaying suspicious tail light activity. Numerous people were seen entering and exiting the vehicle. Fearing they were casing a local casino, the concerned citizen called authorities.
1:37 a.m. A Kila resident reported receiving profane text and computer messages, including one in which the sender claimed he had guns. The Kila resident believes he hails from Utah.
6:07 a.m. When asked by a Martin City resident why they were driving around at such an early hour, two males replied that they were siphoning gas.
7:46 a.m. Someone spray painted five cars at a Kalispell auto dealership.
