8:11 a.m. A watchful citizen called in to alert deputies of three tan and brown horses near Highway 206 in Columbia Falls.

9:46 a.m. A Kalispell woman reported capturing a friendly pit bull. The dog, she said, was standing on Clairmont Street looking “bewildered,” so she let it into her vehicle and took it to work with her. The animal warden picked it up and took it to the animal shelter.

10:00 a.m. A fuel tanker was seen moving at an excessive speed down Highway 93 in Whitefish.

11:15 a.m. Someone in Bigfork was wondering if the animal warden could get their neighbor a free dog.

11:26 a.m. A man on Highway 35 called in concerned that his phone had been tapped and that “mechanical dogs” may be watching him.

1:00 p.m. Someone found a female dog on Church Drive that looked “scared.”

2:10 p.m. A pedestrian on Highway 2 East chucked a rock at a man’s vehicle, breaking the windshield.

2:17 p.m. A fanny pack and other items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Whitefish Stage.

2:58 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident called in suspicious about the vehicle that was stuck at the bottom of their driveway.

3:21 p.m. A candy machine loaded with change was stolen from a Kalispell business.

3:43 p.m. A concerned Kalispell woman called to make it known that her elderly dad, who had just had dental work, was driving.

6:16 p.m. A Highway 35 woman reported that her estranged husband has her vehicle.

7:40 p.m. A man on Vonderheide Lane complained that he couldn’t get his intoxicated girlfriend to leave his house.

10:40 p.m. Someone on Cobbler Drive could hear, but not see, people walking around the storage units nearby.

11:00 p.m. A couple on South Cedar Drive argued after she hit his vehicle with hers.
