Three Charged in Kalispell Morphine Theft

By Beacon Staff

Felony charges have been filed against three people after an investigation into a November robbery during which a Kalispell woman said she was held at knife-point and robbed of medications, including 1,200 morphine pills.

Prosecutors allege 33-year-old Sabrina Gustafson suggested the robbery after a friend told her about the woman’s medications. Officials say 26-year-old Brittney Rae Koznov knocked on the front door to create a distraction while 25-year-old Devin J. Olesen broke in the back door and robbed the woman.

The Daily Inter Lake reports the thieves also took 150 Percocet pills and 90 Valium pills.

Olesen is charged with felony robbery, Koznov is charged with accountability to robbery and Gustafson is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. They also are charged with felony possession of dangerous drugs.
