Crossing Guard Complaint

11:39 a.m. A chocolate lab reportedly attacked and killed some chickens on McMannamy Draw.

1:41 p.m. Someone called in to complain about kids with a lemonade stand on East Evergreen Drive. The caller said one of them had dressed up as a crossing guard and was stopping vehicles. Upon investigation, the child crossing guard was an actual crossing guard on duty.

1:56 p.m. A Columbia Falls man reported that his intoxicated wife punched him the face, breaking his nose.

5:20 p.m. An old black dog wouldn’t leave the home of a Swan River Road resident. It was hauled off to the shelter.

6:12 p.m. A Marion man reported that, while swimming in Island Lake last year, he saw an upside down vehicle at the bottom of the lake.

8:01 p.m. A man from Shady Lane said another man attacked him, but he was able to fend him off with pepper spray.

9:07 p.m. A house in Martin City caught on fire.

9:20 p.m. Apparently, four men fought each other on Parkline Drive.

10:05 p.m. A Lakeside resident reported that someone in a white hoodie was snooping around their home.

11:13 p.m. A transient was heard cussing on Highway 2 East.

12:23 a.m. Someone reported that a Canadian was driving terribly slow and swerving all over Highway 35 in Kalispell.
