9:13 a.m. A woman on Haywire Gulch complained that her neighbor’s junk vehicles are strewn about his yard. He claimed to be in the process of putting them away.

9:14 a.m. One man realized that four-wheel drive does not allow him the ability to “walk on water.” His truck was found buried in mud and weeds off of South Meridian Road.

12:25 p.m. A man and women were separated after an argument involving a thrown salad, a smashed Kindle and cigarettes.

12:43 p.m. A third-grader with yellowish-orange hair escaped from his school. At the time of the call, the secretary was chasing him down the bike path.

2:49 p.m. A couple of tires were reported stolen from someone’s shed on Cemetery Road.

6:11 p.m. Someone on Highway 2 West reported that the driver of a white car kept turning the blinker on but made no real effort to turn.

6:31 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman claimed that her kids were shot at with a pellet gun by children on South Hilltop Road. One was hit but not injured.

7:27 p.m. A woman on Jellison Road in Columbia Falls reported that a kid in a ditch shot at her husband’s vehicle with a pellet gun. The parents and child-shooter were counseled by a deputy.

12:07 a.m. A man was seen fighting with his drunken girlfriend in front of a bar on Highway 35 in Kalispell.
