10:23 a.m. A Kalispell man accidentally called 911 after dutifully following his cell phone’s instructions to call “SOS.”

12:36 p.m. Someone reported that a small man in a “duck” colored coat was engaging in some drunken road hunting on the North Fork Road.

1:26 p.m. A couple of new transient camps were erected near the old Walmart.

2:00 p.m. A Whitefish resident reported that someone stole landscaping equipment from their garage.

2:12 p.m. A business owner on Montclair Drive reported that a small kid came into his store, stuck his hands in his pockets, then ran out.

2:59 p.m. A black Lab was spotted running through someone’s yard on Batavia Lane.

3:20 p.m. A Somers woman hears gunshots every night. She wanted to talk to a deputy about the state of her neighborhood.

4:07 p.m. Someone complained that a large pile of leaves on Hanging Rock Drive was obstructing traffic. The caller was hoping someone else could come move it.

12:32 p.m. Reportedly, a bear was milling around near the transient camps by the old Walmart.
