The Montana Brewers Association has announced a fundraising cruise with Charlie Papazian, a celebrity in the brewing world, on Flathead Lake on Aug. 10.
Limited tickets are available for purchase on the MBA website. Charlie will be joined by 12 Montana brewers and their beer, as well as Tony Herbert, the president of the MBA.
The association is raising funds to continue their work on behalf of Montana member breweries.
Papazian founded the Brewers Association and the Great American Beer Festival. He also authored The Complete Joy of Home Brewing. He is the current president of the Brewers Association which represents over 2000 breweries nationwide.
The cruise will depart from Lakeside on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 6 p.m., and return around 9 p.m. Appetizers will be served, as well as Montana-made beer from MBA breweries. John Floridis will provide music.
Tickets are $150 per person.
