Stolen Change

7:46 a.m. Someone stole around $50 in change from a newspaper vending machine.

12:05 p.m. A Bigfork man reported that an Irish felon was attempting to file a restraining order against his roommate. His complaints were unfounded.

2:18 p.m. Reportedly, mortar shells from a cannon that was shot off by a Foothill Road resident hit a satellite dish and narrowly missed a bystander.

3:16 p.m. A bunch of cows escaped their pasture on South Hilltop Road in Columbia Falls. They were rounded up and taken home.

6:01 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident reported that kids on 4-wheelers and motorcycles are noisy and consistently speed through the neighborhood.

6:14 p.m. Someone called from Bigfork after watching a drunken woman stumble out of a local bar. The caller stated that, at the time of the call, she was looking for her car keys.

6:22 p.m. A small horse was seen wandering down Fawn Ridge Lane.

6:32 p.m. A sprinkler system and mailbox on Winchester Street were vandalized.
