Chicken Incident

8:50 a.m. A puppy on a chain climbed a wood pile and leapt over the fence. An animal warden found the enthusiastic little animal wrapped up in a bike in the neighbor’s yard.

9:24 a.m. An Evergreen woman reported that her former renters destroyed the carpets and left the water running with a broken pipe.

10:23 a.m. A West Glacier woman is missing some tools. She has a suspect in mind.

10:35 a.m. A Hungry Horse woman knows who has the stolen van that went missing from a local bar a few nights ago.

10:47 a.m. A Bigfork woman reported that the brown dog she was watching for her friend bit her in the face.

12:09 p.m. Neighbors on Antelope Trail are involved in an intense dispute over political signs and fences.

12:12 p.m. Someone driving down Highway 2 East complained that the person tailgating her made some rude hand gestures.

1:26 p.m. A dog in Olney was reportedly shot with rock salt.

2:31 p.m. A Bigfork resident complained that the neighbor’s goats were in his yard again.

3:46 p.m. A man on Tahoe Drive reported that religious solicitors have posted fliers all over his fence, despite his signs that are posted “no religious soliciting.”

3:51 p.m. A Lakeside resident claimed that, for the third time, someone let the air out of his tires.

5:36 p.m. A Kila man reported that the neighbor’s husky was in his front yard attacking his chicken.

8:37 p.m. A man camping on the North Fork Road claimed that a drunken woman punched him and gave him a bloody nose.

9:23 p.m. A drunken Kalispell man claimed that his drunken girlfriend bit him in the arm when he refused to let her to pawn their TV.

10:17 p.m. A woman on Cooperative Way called 911 to report that the neighbor kids were throwing handfuls of dog food onto her porch.
