BROWNING – A 48-year-old Browning man died and three others sustained injuries in a crash involving two vehicles north of Browning.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the man lost control while driving a Ford F-150 east on Boarding School Road and went off the left edge at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police tell The Great Falls Tribune that the driver overcorrected and the truck rolled across the road and struck a Toyota 4Runner parked in an approach.

The impact caused the Toyota to also roll.

The driver of the F-150 was taken to the Indian Health Service hospital in Browning where he was pronounced dead.

Police say a passenger in the truck and two occupants of the 4Runner were hospitalized with injuries considered not to be life-threatening.

Names haven’t been released.
