Treasure Chest

8:05 a.m. One mailbox on Fairmont Road was found smashed to bits.

8:14 a.m. According to one concerned resident, someone on a four-wheeler was driving too fast down Blacktail Road.

9:20 a.m. Someone found a mountain bike tossed over the river bank near Martin City.

9:32 a.m. A girl called from the Kila area complaining that her boyfriend’s parents locked her out of their house, forcing her to sleep in the barn. She wondered if there were laws concerning this type of “inhumane” treatment.

11:32 a.m. A resident on Fairview Drive heard fighting in the apartment next door and someone scream “get out of my room!” A deputy discovered that two teenaged siblings had been left alone to defend their bedrooms by whatever means possible. No one was physically injured and the parents returned home during their lunch breaks.

11:41 a.m. Someone found an old chest full of toys on Wild Horse Island.

12:16 p.m. A man was found passed out in a dumpster.

1:05 p.m. A resident on Fairview Drive complained that the neighbor man kicked at her dog through the fence.

1:15 p.m. Someone scribbled “Bobby!” with a sharpie across a garage door on East Idaho Street.

2:41 p.m. A Bigfork man complained that a woman bumped into one of his sheep while she was driving through the neighborhood and playing with her phone.

6:30 p.m. An Antelope Trail resident reported that his neighbors were throwing apples at his house.

8:35 p.m. A man on Shady Lane reported that a drunken woman knocked on his door and asked him for a ride. However, he was also intoxicated and hoped a deputy might pick her up.
