Pigs Call 911

By

8:24 a.m. Reportedly, a presumably drunken woman in a Honda Pilot was entirely unable to stay in her lane and nearly caused an accident.

8:26 a.m. A loose horse was spotted walking up one of the Lone Pine Trails.

8:29 a.m. A Bigfork woman complained that the neighbor’s cows had wandered over into her yard.

11:02 a.m. Runaway cattle were seen headed westbound down Whalebone Drive.

11:47 a.m. A loose Chihuahua pranced around Klondyke Loop and irritated residents with its presence and incessant barking.

12:27 p.m. An employee of a local moving van business reported that someone returned a truck with blood and hair in it. A deputy discerned that the saliva on the seat and the slimy smear left on the passenger side window were sufficient evidence to determine that the hair and small amount blood belonged to a dog.

1:56 p.m. A local man was asked to leave a Coram business after pestering the employees and repeatedly urinating on the building.

2:33 p.m. Something that sounded like pigs grunting was overheard during an accidental phone call to 911.

6:22 p.m. An angry man undergoing the eviction process threatened to blow up the entire trailer park.

11:27 p.m. A man who called from Hodgson Road in Whitefish claiming that a tree branch had fallen in the road and, although he didn’t hit it or stop to move it, suspected that someone else might and that it “could kill someone.” He then stated that he would not be able to provide information about himself because he did not have a driver’s license.
