Just like the TV program “Dancing with the Stars,” six local dancers and three judges will rehearse with the professional Utah Ballroom Dance Company to put on a fun, entertaining, and hilarious show, including performances by the Utah Ballroom Dancers, for one night only, on Nov. 14.

Participants, all professed “non-dancers,” include Whitefish High School Principal Kerry Drown, Great Northern Brewery Manager Marcus Duffy, local activist Carol Atkinson, current Whitefish Winter Carnival King Mark Svennengsen, Wasabi owner Paula Greenstein and a mystery dancer.

Judges include Whitefish HS drama coach and local actor Matt Ford, Whitefish Lake Restaurant Manager Vicki Hill and Whitefish Credit Union Marketing Director Sue Schenk. It should be a fun evening, and the crowd gets to vote for who takes home the mirror ball trophy.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish. Tickets are $28 and available at the O’Shaughnessy Center. For more information, call 862-5371.
