Dog Herding

8:59 a.m. A tan cow has been grazing along Highway 2 West in West Glacier for the past two weeks.

9:49 a.m. A terrier dog on Foothill Road, according to one resident there, never stops barking.

11:14 a.m. Someone reported that the occupants of a light blue pickup were “jerking around” as the truck swerved recklessly down Highway 2 East.

11:45 a.m. Reportedly, dogs were herding other dogs on Dern Road.

12:03 p.m. Someone reported that a man on Pioneer Road was trying to sell a 55 gallon drum of antifreeze. The caller stated that the man had “no business” handling a 55 gallon drum.

12:36 p.m. A local woman complained that someone named after a common spice stole and pawned her jewelry.

1:25 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman complained that her ex-boyfriend’s mother posted threatening comments on Facebook.

1:58 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that a transient keeps leaving weird notes on her car, thanking her for money she never gave him.

2:20 p.m. Someone driving down Hilltop Road in Columbia Falls claimed that a man with a rifle was walking down the middle of the road, refusing to let others pass. A deputy found the man clutching a stick and walking in the ditch.

6:03 p.m. Two purple-haired girls were seen smoking something out of a glass pipe on a playground on Helena Flats Road.

6:37 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that her step-son stole all of the change from her Culligan jar.

6:40 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident reported that the drunken neighbor woman was in her home rummaging around in her things, claiming the items she wanted. She left empty handed and was advised to not return.
