More Snow and Mail Theft

8:59 a.m. A resident on Helena Flats Court called in to complain about snow removal issues.

10:37 a.m. A husky was picked up in Columbia Falls and taken to the animal shelter.

11:55 a.m. A retriever and a sheltie ran away from their home on Stillwater Loop and, at the time of the call, had been missing for 30 minutes.

12:16 p.m. Someone who was stuck in the ditch on La Brandt Drive witnessed a man steal something from another resident’s mailbox.

1:26 p.m. The manager of local trailer park complained that the snow berms at the entrance of the park are dangerous and make it difficult for residents to leave. A deputy deemed them no less obstructive than any others in the county.

2:30 p.m. A man on Van Sant Road reported that a woman, and he knows which one, stole his Xbox while he was out of town last week.

3:26 p.m. A landlord on Phanco Lane complained of his unsuccessful attempt to evict a belligerent tenant.

3:55 p.m. A man on Goodrich Lane reported that a woman with a missing tooth was outside banging on his locked door, demanding he hand over her food. The resident requested a deputy be present for the hand-off.

8:31 p.m. A runaway retriever was captured in Columbia Falls and returned to its owner.

10:23 p.m. A man driving down South Woodland Drive reported that a girl was “dragging her leg” as she walked down the road. He stated that when he stopped to help her, she kicked his truck.
