State Rodeo Finals Return to Kalispell

Organizers need volunteers for the event at Majestic Valley Arena

Montana’s finest young rodeo riders will converge on Kalispell June 8-14 for what promises to be the state’s biggest rodeo event of the year. Over 250 contestants and their families will travel from all parts of the state to participate in all the major rodeo disciplines including barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping and more.

Organizers need volunteers for the event at Majestic Valley Arena.

Volunteers shifts are four to five hours. To sign up or get more information, contact Vonnie Day at 758-2809 or [email protected].

Here is a list of dates and information about each day volunteers are needed:

Monday, June 8 – Event set-up

Tuesday, June 9 – Event set-up, ticket sales, contestant check-in

Wednesday, June 10 – Registration, camp check-in, traffic control, info office

Thursday, June 11 – Ticket sales, info office

Friday, June 12 – Ticket sales, info office, parking, spectator surveys

Saturday, June 13 – Info office, parking, spectator surveys, ticket and program sales

Sunday, June 14 – Info office, ticket and program sales, awards ceremony
