Napping Man

8:03 a.m. A Whitefish woman called in regarding a huge bag of stuffed animals that she intended to donate to the sheriff’s department.

9:36 a.m. A Kalispell woman chased a strange woman out of her house with a frying pan after finding the woman in her living room, holding her baby. The woman was later arrested for burglary.

9:41 a.m. A Stag Lane resident reported that someone stole a handgun out of her unlocked truck.

9:45 a.m. A woman on Ridgewood Drive reported that the neighbor man found her daughter’s wallet in his car.

10:16 a.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her neighbor cut one of her aspen trees down because it was blocking his view.

12:27 p.m. A drunken man found what he thought was an ad for prostitution on Craigslist. The ad was for a massage therapist. The man was informed that nothing illegal had occurred.

1:15 p.m. A Kalispell man called in to complain about his in-laws.

2:40 p.m. Someone reported that a man who had been sleeping at a picnic table was contorted into a “weird” position. A deputy found the man comfortable in his sleeping position of choice.

2:41 p.m. Someone might be living in a cave near Marion.

2:50 a.m. A resident on Grand Drive in Bigfork saw someone in a dark hooded sweatshirt checking for unlocked vehicles.
