For years, Eric Thomas wanted a way to bounce around without worry and last year he finally found that he could with the National Association of Bubble Soccer. Eric and Karen Thomas recently moved from California and have opened Flathead Valley Bubble Soccer, the first and only such business in the state. In bubble soccer, players climb into massive plastic bubbles and are able to bounce around without worry of injury. The massive bubbles are available for rent – Thomas said they’re great for parties and events – and now they are trying to form a bubble soccer league in the valley to play year round.
“It’s exactly like playing soccer except you’re inside an airbag,” Thomas said.
