8:15 a.m. A transient was seen in the woods off of Highway 93 South.
9:29 a.m. A Bigfork woman reported that her son destroyed her vehicle earlier that morning and she would like to press charges.
9:32 a.m. There was talk about the suspicious activity of the members of the Sovereign Citizens Group.
9:37 a.m. An intoxicated man on Highway 35 in Kalispell called in with vague concerns about his fiancée’s whereabouts.
11:04 a.m. A “creepy” man was seen standing in some bushes in Somers and then later wandering through town with his sleeping bag. Apparently, he has a history of stirring up trouble.
12:20 p.m. A border collie on Indian Ridge Road dug a hole under the gate and ran away.
2:03 p.m. Numerous dogs on Forest Drive were barking.
3:04 p.m. Someone in Columbia Falls called in to report that they were chasing a “cute, little brown dog.” An animal warden picked up the dog and took it to the shelter.
3:15 p.m. A woman called in to report that her dog was stolen from the animal shelter. The man who took the dog claimed that he was just trying to “save” it. He was happy to return the dog.
6:18 p.m. A black dog and a golden retriever reportedly bullied someone’s dog on Smith Lake Road.
7:14 p.m. A 10-year-old in Lakeside ran off after a squabble with his older brother. He returned home a short time later.
8:02 p.m. Someone in Bigfork called in to report that they were following an intoxicated driver who had just left a local bar.
8:10 p.m. Someone called in claiming that he put $20 into a machine at a casino and didn’t win. He went on to say that he ended up putting in a total of $160 into this machine and still didn’t win. He wanted to report that he thought the machine was “fixed.”
8:48 p.m. A Somers resident reported a UFO sighting. He tried to call 911 when he saw the lights in the sky, but claimed his phone wouldn’t work. The lights were no longer visible for deputies to check on.
10:14 p.m. An employee of a fast food restaurant reported that an intoxicated man was going through the drive through. The complaint was canceled after the driver said he was joking and started acting normally.
