Adventurers to Offer FVCC Presentation on Yellowstone Country

The Continuing Education Center at Flathead Valley Community College will welcome a pair of photographers, writers and overall adventurers for a free presentation on Yellowstone Country.

On Oct. 23, Rick and Susie Graetz will share the essence of Yellowstone Country through a presentation that includes photos exhibiting the splendor of its legendary mountains, rivers, forests, glaciers, geysers, volcanoes and wildlife.

Rick is a geography professor at The University of Montana, and Susie is the managing editor of the University of Montana Press and a visiting scholar with UM’s Central Asian Studies Center. The couple has authored 18 books on Montana and numerous titles on other areas of the United States and foreign countries as well as articles for numerous national publications and columns for the long-running syndicated newspaper column, “This is Montana.”

The lecture will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the large community meeting room inside the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC campus.
