War Zone

11:47 a.m. A resident on Hilltop Road in Columbia Falls reported that someone has been rifling through neighborhood mailboxes and opening mail.

1:57 p.m. Someone on Holt Drive is missing two full gas cans.

2:37 p.m. Reportedly, a tattooed man with an “Abe Lincoln beard” approached numerous elderly women on Highway 2 East and asked for gas money.

3:38 p.m. A resident on Farm to Market complained that the area sounds like a “war zone” due to one neighbor’s fascinations with fireworks.

4:29 p.m. A complaint was made about three drunken men on Grand Drive in Bigfork. They were gone when a deputy arrived.

6:44 p.m. A resident on Gunsight Loop complained that the neighbor’s loose dogs were in his yard, riling up his better behaved, contained dogs.

6:49 p.m. Another Gunsight Loop resident reported that the neighbor man yelled obscenities at her son, who had apparently strayed too close and possibly into his yard.

6:50 p.m. A naked man was spotted near El Rancho Road.

7:18 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her neighbor, who was apparently upset with her, threatened to make her “walls rock ‘till ten o’clock” with his loud music.

8:01 p.m. Suspicious items including a lighter and some gasoline soaked notebooks were found in a neighborhood tree house on Cottonwood Drive.

8:56 p.m. Someone called from the county fair reporting that a man in flannel stole their phone.

1:33 a.m. Three boys were spotted throwing firecrackers into mailboxes on Willow Drive.
