MISSOULA — The Big Sky Conference women’s and men’s basketball tournaments will be held this week at Dahlberg Arena in Missoula.
Montana clinched the right to host the women’s tournament last week, while the Griz men did the same Saturday night.
It will be the second time in three years Montana has hosted both tournaments.
The women’s tournament will be held Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The men will play Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The Lady Griz (21-8, 14-4 BSC) will face No. 8 Idaho State (13-16, 8-10 BSC) Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the women’s quarterfinal.
No. 7 Montana State (15-14, 9-9) will play No. 2 Sacramento State (15-14, 13-5) at 11 a.m.
In men’s division, Montana (18-11, 14-4 BSC) will host No. 8 Weber State (13-16, 8-10) at 8 p.m. Thursday.
