12:07 a.m. On Willow Glen drive, an intoxicated woman was screaming wildly and calling for her pastor. Authorities responded and she quickly calmed.
12:46 a.m. A brush fire covered less than one acre of land near Foys Lake.
1:03 a.m. A woman in Somers evidently heard banging on her windows, as if someone were trying to gain entry. No such individual was found.
1:17 a.m. An elderly individual fell and injured his head in Polebridge.
1:39 a.m. Information posted on a social networking Web site led a woman to believe that her mother-in-law was “in trouble.” The woman was located and found to be perfectly fine.
1:47 a.m. Two men at a Hungry Horse bar were escorted to jail on charges of criminal endangerment. Though details are sparse, the issue is believed to involve fireworks.
2:08 a.m. A biker in Whitefish was at the receiving end of a hit-and-run accident. The individual refused care.
2:26 a.m. In Lakeside, someone was slamming their boat into the dock in an irritating manner.
2:57 a.m. A tire and other miscellaneous debris was ablaze in the middle of Airport Road.
3:04 a.m. Reports of a “man down” in Whitefish brought attention to an individual passed out drunk in the street.
3:51 a.m. Authorities attempted to locate a white vehicle containing a small child without a car seat on Stoner Creek Road. The vehicle could not be found.
4:07 a.m. An unwanted individual was behaving in an unruly manner at a Whitefish motel.
6:16 a.m. A wide variety of trash was scattered about a Bigfork park, much to the dismay of nearby residents.
7:16 a.m. A resident of Blanchard Lake Road awoke to find his mailbox smashed.
7:43 a.m. Someone stole a big black garbage can on wheels from a Rocky Cliff Drive home.
8:48 a.m. An individual living on Haywire Gulch reports that his neighbor has been tailgating, speeding, and intimidating other drivers in the area.
10:37 a.m. A mischievous miscreant blew up an outhouse at Lone Pine State Park. It is believed that his explosive of choice was the traditional sparkler bomb.
10:57 a.m. Reports of a family living in their vehicle at a local big box store proved unfounded. The man, woman and child did indeed have a home and were entirely content.
11:01 a.m. Someone in Whitefish tossed a Roman candle through the open window of a vehicle. Though the vehicle did not catch fire, the seat suffered considerable damage.
11:43 a.m. Two neighbors on Parker Hill Road cannot seem to get along and are engaged in an ongoing feud. This time, one neighbor evidently walked across the other’s property.
12:17 p.m. A fire in the woods near Hungry Horse burned for approximately seven minutes before extinguished by the Hungry Horse Fire Department.
12:19 p.m. Someone on Harbin Hill Road reports that their 23-year-old son was extremely drunk and causing problems. The issue was resolved without the assistance of law enforcement.
12:31 p.m. In Columbia Falls, someone rifled through an unlocked vehicle. The owner thinks that items may have been stolen but cannot identify what.
12:38 p.m. Smith Valley Fire Department responded to reports of a fire on Foys Lake Road, only to discover that the blaze was simply a recreational bonfire in an appropriate fire pit.
1:18 p.m. A female on Ridgewood Drive simply will not quit calling another female, who feels like she is being harassed.
1:31 p.m. A recreational vehicle driving down Highway 2 was evidently leaking what is known as “gray water,” or waste water.
2:23 p.m. Reports of a pedestrian in the roadway at West Glacier turned out to be a gentleman preaching with the aid of a megaphone. He was doing so safely and was allowed to continue.
2:55 p.m. One man clobbered another in Columbia Falls. No injuries were reported.
3:17 p.m. Machine gun fire was heard on Evers Creek Road. The shooter did have the proper authorization and was doing so in a safe manner.
4:05 p.m. A patron of a local fireworks stand claimed fraud after not receiving the correct amount of change.
5:36 p.m. A woman claims that her purse was stolen during a bar fight in Hungry Horse.
6:28 p.m. A ten-year-old boy was viciously attacked by a pit bull on Pioneer Road. The owner was cited and the dog quarantined.
8:24 p.m. A man and woman were evidently threatening one another in Hungry Horse. The quarreling duo could not be located.
8:43 p.m. A man on Mountain Meadow Drive claims that his ex-wife is calling and harassing him.
8:58 p.m. A truck attempting to climb a hill on Go Away Lane abruptly died and then burst into flames.
9:22 p.m. A resident of Hungry Horse apparently misuses 9-1-1, calling excessively for non-emergency reports.
9:32 p.m. Someone on Highway 35 was threatening to break into another individual’s RV. The offender was arrested on outstanding warrants.
10:03 p.m. A boat broke loose from a dock in Bigfork, but was soon found and returned.
10:10 p.m. A driver in Somers nearly collided with another driver, inspiring the individual to honk his horn. The offending driver then proceeded to verbally threaten the other.
10:56 p.m. Four or five youths were apparently wandering about Shady Lane, carrying baseball bats and peeking into cars. Authorities responded but could not locate the youths.
11:11 p.m. Someone placed a wheelbarrow and several pieces of wood on the railroad tracks in Whitefish. This practice is highly unsafe and the area will receive extra patrol.
4:16 p.m. A sheriff’s deputy hit a deer while driving on Highway 2.
