U.S. House Candidates Meet Tonight for Final Debate

Great Falls meeting is last chance for candidates to spar over issues prior to Nov. 4 election

GREAT FALLS – Montana candidates for the Nov. 4 U.S. House election are meeting for their final debate in Great Falls.

Democrat John Lewis, Republican Ryan Zinke and Libertarian Mike Fellows are set to debate at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Heritage Hall on the Great Falls College Montana State University campus.

The debate will be streamed live on the Great Falls Tribune and KXGF-AM websites.

The Great Falls Tribune reports that debate topics will include agriculture, the nation’s health-care overhaul, the military and Ebola concerns.

The three candidates are competing to replace Republican U.S. Rep. Steve Daines, who is running for Senate. They last debated Sunday night in Kalispell.
